Tools required:
Electric drill, drill bits, wrenches, pliers, measuring
tape |

Before you begin
Read the directions completely to make sure you understand and are comfortable
completing each step. Work slowly and be careful. Remove your watch, rings, and bracelets for safety.
Some improvising is generally required since there is a wide variation in roof
construction and attachments.
Warning: Golf cart voltage can cause injury. Not experienced? Get professional
assistance. |
| |
|
Step 1: Safety
Park you golf cart on a level surface, apply the parking brake and remove the key.
Disable the vehicle following the manufacturer's
instructions. Remove the lower seat. |
|
| |
|
Step
2: Attach Brackets
Check the bracket location for ROOF mounting on the diagram very carefully. You
are going to mount the blower inverted with a slight down angle. Firmly push on
the mounting brackets to click into place and hold the blower where you plan to locate it and
verify it is similar to the diagram. Spacers may be used to further change the
angle. |
 |
| |
| Step 3: Mark Mounting Holes
Before marking holes hold the blower in the mounted
location and make sure there is clearance for the windshield and any other
mechanicals in the area.
Carefully measure to mark the location of the blower on the roof - generally,
centered 10" to 12" from the front edge. Set the blower on top of the roof and
mark the holes. Drill the holes using a 1/4" drill bit making sure there is
a clear path through the roof. |
| |
|
Step 4: Attach Blower
Drop the Nylon screws through the holes in the roof. Feed the spacers (IF NEEDED), flat washers
and then screw on lock nuts just a few threads. Hang the blower by sliding the
slotted brackets on to the bolted screws. Tighten the nuts and trim off excess
Nylon screw with wire cutters as needed. Be careful as roofs can be damaged by
over tightening the screws. |
|
| |
|
Step 5: Attach Power Cable
Attach the power cable to the roof using the included wire ties and anchors.
Attach the cable to a roof support and feed the cable into the battery
compartment. Be sure the cable is attached securely to
the cart and is not a hazard to the passengers. |
|
| |
|
| WARNING: Golf carts and
utility vehicles have sophisticated electronic controllers that
can be damaged by changes in voltage and polarity. Always follow
the manufacturer's instructions for attaching additional
electrical devices to the vehicle. |
|
Step 6a: Battery Connection - 12-Volt
Blower (36-Volt System)
Attach included ring connector to BLACK
ground side of cable and female connector to colored
usually gray side of cable.
For 12V blowers (36V carts), select two batteries connected
inline with each other. Connect one wire to each of two 6V
batteries to get the required 12V for the blower motor. Carefully connect the
ground wire to the negative (-) battery post as indicated. Then on the adjacent
battery connected inline, attach the red wire with the inline fuse to the
positive (+) battery post as shown. |
 |
| OR |
|
Step 6b: Battery Connection - 24-Volt
Blower (48-Volt System)
For 24V blowers (48V carts), the same as Step 6a except connect one positive and one negative wire only to each end of three
8-volt batteries connected in line to get the required 24V for the blower motor. |
 |
| OR |
|
Step 6c: Battery Connection - Gas
Powered Cart - 12-Volt Blower
Connect the ground wire to the negative (-)
battery post and the red positive wire attached to the inline fuse to the
positive (+) battery post. |
 |
| |
|
| Step 7: Feel The Breeze |
|
| Test the
BREEZeasy
using the 3-speed switch and reinstall the seat. |
